Meet by the tower. There are sea views to paint and sketch, as well as the tower itself and the surrounding gardens.
Parking – The nearest public car park is Appley Park Long Stay Car Park. Normal Council charges apply
Coffee – Appley Beach Café is a short walk from the tower
Loos – Appley Park public toilets are nearby
How to Get There – Head east along The Esplanade in Ryde and then turn left into North Walk (this is the road that runs by the sea and skirts around the Canoe Lake at the end of the Esplanade). After the Canoe Lake, bear left and continue along North Walk until it becomes Appley Lane. The car park will be on your left. From the car park you’ll be able to walk along the seafront to the tower. The toilets are close to the carpark (by the beach huts we hired in 2025).
