If you drive in and leave because you cannot find a space or pop into town, please ensure you still enter your registration at Reception ON ARRIVAL. Failure to do so will result in a fine. What we do
Workshops are held weekly in the winter when there is not a demonstration.
A live model for portraiture (mostly volunteers and sometimes a professional model is provided) still life is provided and an area for you to do your own work. Please bring your own equipment, easels are permtted. The demonstrations are provided by professional guest artists covering a variety of media. During the year there are also a couple of one-day study days arranged by the Club featuring professional artists both local or from the mainland. The numbers for these are limited and generally cost £40-£60 per person. Full payment on booking is required. Cancellation: If we cannot fill your space you may forfeit your fee.
During the summer we organise “Plein Air" sessions on Tuesday mornings at 10.30am at a variety of outdoor locations, including local beauty spots and places of interest, providing many painting/sketching opportunities. These run from the first Tuesday in May through to the end of September.
Winter and Summer Programmes are published on the website prior to the start of each season and hard copies will be available at the Riverside Centre at our Tuesday meetings.
