Hester Berry Demo Wednesday 21 April 2021 at 2pm
Hester Berry will be giving us a demo in oil on 21 April at 2pm. Please note this is a Wednesday and you will be emailed your zoom invitation the day before. You may paint along with Hester if you wish, and you will be emailed a list of materials required.

An expressive portrait of a child. The demonstration was greatly enjoyed by many members.
April 2021 Still Life
Here is a limited palette still life to have some fun with. In my version, the colours yellow and violet (complementary) have been used and the tonal values bumped up to create a bit more drama. Also edited the content, you don’t have to put everything in. Here is a black and white photo to show tonal values have nothing to do with local colour.
