If you feel comfortable to join other artists for a bit of fresh air painting we would love to see you. There is no need to book, just turn up.

It is vital that we all follow the social distancing and group size rules that are in place at the time. The group size refers to the number of people sitting together to paint, not to the number of artists turning up.

Peter Allen or another member will wait at the meeting point for about 20 minutes after 10am. After that later arriving members will need to look around for other artists.

The programme for the remainder of the Summer Programme can be found by clicking on the PDF below.

The 4th Edition of the Lockdown Newsletter is now published, which we hope you enjoy.
We have introduced two new initiatives this time, a Still Life to paint and a look at other forms of art. However, we still need lots more photos of your paintings for the next issue please. Download the Newsletter which contains all the info you need on how and where to send them.

The second edition of our Lockdown Newsletter has been published. Go to News and select Newsletters. Thanks to Gillian Nye for producing this, we hope you find it both interesting and useful. Remember to send your photos and stories to Gillian, details in the newsletter.

Now we are officially allowed to leave home, albeit at a safe distance, more opportunities are there to find inspiring subjects to paint. We still need you to send your paintings to us for the next Newsletter in 2 weeks time, telling us why you decided to paint that particular subject. We’ve had lots of lovely comments about your paintings, so thank you to everyone who has contributed so far and to those who haven’t yet, please do, and send to the details in the Newsletter.

We hope you are all safe, fit and well.
We’ve devised a way for all of us to keep in touch by sharing the artwork we’ve been doing over the last few months. Incorporated in the Newsletter we’re starting "IWAC in Lockdown" where you can send photos of your paintings with any story attached, which we publish on this website.
The first edition and details about sending your work can be found by selecting Newsletters from the drop down menu. Remember to take your view to full screen. We hope to publish approximately once a fortnight.
